This is the skull of an adult European badger (Meles meles meles). It is a large subspecies from continental Europe with a strongly developed sagittal crest. A strong sexual dimorphism in tooth size exists in the canines of European badgers.

All teeth are present, including the smallest of all behind the canines! The nasal bones are also in perfect condition.

The dimension of this skull are as follows:
Length - 14 cm
Width - 8 cm
Height - 6 cm

The European badger (Meles meles) is not protected under CITES.
Origin of the animal: Germany.
