Tropical Pink Springtails

Tropical pink springtails (Coecobrya sp.) are lightly tinted pink and prefer a warmer environment in comparison to Bylas ant springtails. They also reproduce at a slower rate. However, they grow bigger in size (up to 4 mm) and are a hardy species.

Springtails are crucial in a bioactive terrarium. They ensure that fungi and leftover food are eaten and therefore help with the decomposition of waste within a terrarium.
