Bylas Ant Springtails

Bylas ant springtails (Pseudosinella violenta) breed extremely easy and very fast and they thrive in most terrestrial environments. Be sure to make a moisty area available for them, but they will also roam onto dry land.

Their common name is derived from the fact that this species can be found living alongside ants in nature.

Springtails are crucial in a bioactive terrarium. They ensure that fungi and leftover food are eaten and therefore help with the decomposition of waste within a terrarium.
